Risk Management
The safety of our members and patrons is a major factor in every decision that we make. As stated in our values:
“While we understand the safety of the community is our driving concern, the safety of our members is our top priority.”
Designated Dawgs, INC.'s risk management was instituted to ensure that all of our members are working under the safest conditions possible. This applies not only to nightly operations, but also to every other event they do for Designated Dawgs, INC., including social events, fundraisers and committee meetings. While the safety of our patrons is of the utmost importance, any situation arising that places a Designated Dawgs, INC. member in danger will quickly refocus our priorities to removing that member out of the situation as safely as possible.
Designated Dawgs, INC. will always strive to find new and innovative approaches to minimize or eliminate risks to its members, patrons, and the community as a whole. Designated Dawgs, INC. in itself is a high-risk operation for all parties involved. The existence and continued operations of Designated Dawgs, INC. is contingent upon maintaining the safety of an otherwise risky operation to the point that our members, patrons, and the university feel comfortable enough to operate, use, and support our program. Designated Dawgs, INC. is dedicated to ALWAYS taking a proactive stance towards the safety and comfort of all people involved in its operation.
