Please keep the following rules in mind before and during your ride with Designated Dawgs:
- Designated Dawgs never provides rides downtown. This includes all bars, restaurants, hotels or apartment complexes located within the southern border of Broad Street, the northern border of Dougherty Street, the western border of Milledge Avenue and the eastern border of Thomas Street.
- Designated Dawgs does not knowingly provide rides to parties.
- Designated Dawgs will not provide a male or group of males with a ride to a sorority house without a female escort, nor will we provide a female or group of females to a fraternity house without a male escort.
- Designated Dawgs reserves the right to deny or terminate a ride if a rider (or potential rider) is acting in a threatening manner or violating the Rider Bill of Rights. In this case, Designated Dawgs will call the rider a taxi, or drop the rider off in a well-lit area near a pay phone so he/she can call a taxi. Please read the Rider Bill of Rights for more information.
- Designated Dawgs drivers/navigators also reserve the right to refuse a ride to a patron if he/she has a personal conflict with the patron outside of Designated Dawgs. In this case, the rider will be diverted to the next available Designated Dawgs vehicle.
- Designated Dawgs will not provide a ride to a patron who is bleeding or has become sick before entering a Designated Dawgs vehicle. If the sick patron waits for 30 minutes without becoming sick again, we will provide a ride. If not, we will assist in calling him/her a taxi.
- Designated Dawgs does not charge a fee if a patron become sick during any point of the ride.
- Each rider must have a seatbelt. Large groups will be split up.
